Bruins Face Panthers in Game 2 of Second-Round Matchup
Boston Looks to Even Series After Game 1 Loss
Bruins Made Minor Moves at Trade Deadline
The Boston Bruins will face the Florida Panthers tonight at Amerant Bank Arena for Game 2 of their second-round matchup. The Bruins are looking to even the series after losing Game 1 on Monday night. The Bruins made a few minor moves at the trade deadline, adding forwards Pat Maroon and Nick Foligno. They also signed defenseman Derek Forbort to an extension. However, they did not make any major acquisitions, as they are still strapped for cap space. The Panthers, on the other hand, have been one of the most active teams in the league at the trade deadline. They acquired forwards Claude Giroux and Ben Chiarot, as well as defenseman Robert Hagg. They also signed forward Mason Marchment to an extension. The Bruins will need to find a way to slow down the Panthers' high-powered offense. The Panthers have scored at least four goals in each of their last four games. The Bruins will also need to get more production from their top line, which has been held scoreless in the playoffs so far. Game 2 is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM ET.
