The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to return to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on May 4, 2024, for UFC 301. The event will be headlined by a flyweight title fight between reigning champion Alexandre Pantoja and challenger Steve Erceg.
Pantoja, who is undefeated in his last five fights, will be looking to defend his belt for the second time. Erceg, meanwhile, has won his last four fights and is considered one of the top contenders in the flyweight division.
The rest of the UFC 301 card is expected to feature a number of exciting matchups, including a middleweight bout between Paulo Costa and Andre Muniz, and a lightweight clash between Charles Oliveira and Rafael dos Anjos.
UFC 301 will be the first event that the UFC has held in Rio de Janeiro since 2019. The event is expected to draw a large crowd of fans from across Brazil and around the world.
